Pediatric physical therapy

Pediatric physical therapists examine and treat children who need assistance with developing their motor skills. We also counsel their parents.

The aim of pediatric physical therapy is to enable children to participate fully in their own environment, exercising and developing their motor skills in a free and playful way. We work in collaboration with other care providers, nurseries, health centres, family doctors and medical specialists. Some examples of children who we may be able to help are: premature or whiny babies, children with hypotonia (low muscle tone), development delays, cerebral palsy, headaches or other pain symptoms, scoliosis or writing problems.

We treat children from 0 to 18 years old. Children with complex problems and young babies may receive treatment at home.
